Coyote Hill Ride (Geldings Pasture)
The Coyote Hill ride is about 1.7 miles and takes about 40 minutes at a walk.

The route described here goes through the gate, up on the little hill on the left next to Pagemill Road. At the end of the hill (there is a shrub) turn right and go down and cross the creek (Purissima Creek) next to Coyote Hill road. After that follow the trail to the top of Coyote Hill. There are several ways down, we picked the small trail on the ridge heading North, then circled around and took one of the many little trails on the west face of Coyote Hill back down. Instead of crossing Purissima Creek again we headed South and exited the Gelding Pasture through the wooden gate onto Deer Creek Road.

Cross Purissima Creek (look to the other side, not down!)

A good spot to run up the hill ...
